We are looking for a casual Picture Framer to join our team!

We are seeking an individual who has a fine attention to detail and who takes pride in their quality of work. Our clients expect the highest quality standards and so do we.
As a picture framer, you would make frames to protect and display items, such as photographs, posters, pictures, certificates, artwork and 3D objects including medals or football shirts.
On a typical day, you might:
Stretch canvas artworks onto wooden stretcher bars.
Mount the object and assemble the frame.
Pack, and deliver finished framed items.
Work on highly specialised framing machinery and tools.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Ability to work with and handle art carefully
Good communication skills
Proven ability to work as part of a team
High degree of engagement and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to work at a good pace.
Proven experience of working with machinery, particularly drills and saws.
Pride in your quality of workmanship.
Excellent personal presentation and ability to maintain an organised and tidy work environment.
Ability to work to tight deadlines as required.
Good physical health and fitness. Some heavy lifting is involved on a daily basis.

This piece is custom framing at its finest. It was mounted to our customers brick wall outside her house, but will now take pride of place inside her house. It is now mounted on a custom made hand sprayed backing with a sharp inner black frame and an outer genuine rust frame. Check out the results!
